Maple Cashew Spread

This is a sweet creamy treat perfect on toast, with steel cut oats or just by the spoonful. The Fat|Carb|Protein ratio makes it a no guilt indulgence.

What you need
1/2 cup raw cashew pieces
3 tablespoons raw hemp seeds
1 tablespoon maple syrup (real stuff)
1 to 16 drops liquid stevia (pure liquid stevia extract)
Grapeseed or other nut oil – maybe

What you do
Puree nuts, seeds and syrup in your Vitamix using the dry container.
Once smooth transfer to a bowl and stir in the stevia. It’s easier to adjust taste this way. Once you know how much stevia you prefer you can add that to the vitamix too. We like it best with 3 drops of liquid stevia.
If you like a thinner spread add grapeseed oil (or another nut oil like hazelnut or almond) to thin.

Store covered in fridge for weeks. Use it like you would peanut butter or top your next bowl of oats or grits with it.
